Mentoring
In addition to psychotherapy, I also offer a mentoring or life-coaching.
Whereas mentoring/coaching and therapy may seem similar in many respects, there are some important differences.
For example: therapy sessions most often occur on a weekly basis, whereas mentoring sessions are just as likely to be bi-monthly or less frequent. Therapy sessions often focus on processing and resolving past traumas or issues, whereas mentoring or coaching sessions are often focused on acquiring particular skills or acheiving certain goals. Therapy is centered on the client; in mentoring and coaching there is often more room for co-exploration.
